Welcome to the
Chazy Lake, Lyon Mountain, Ledger's Corners, Village of Dannemora
A PICTURESQUE ADIRONDACK TOWN
Dannemora is a charming town located in the northern region of New York State. With a population of almost 3,000 people, Dannemora offers a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of larger cities. Despite its small size, the town is steeped in history, with roots dating back to the early 19th century. Dannemora is home to beautiful parks, friendly locals, and a rich cultural heritage, making it a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. Whether you're looking to explore its history, enjoy the great outdoors, or simply relax and unwind, Dannemora has something for everyone.
Explore Chazy Lake where you can enjoy a relaxing day of fishing, paddling and swimming at Chazy Lake Beach. The Chazy Lake Boat Launch, located off Route 374, provides easy access for boaters at the northwest end. Once the water freezes, ice fishing and snowmobiling on Chazy Lake become extremely popular activities during the quiet winter months.
